This observation was taken with the 1/4 window and 1s burst clock option. I extracted the source light curve after filtering with the appropriate source region. The xselect option - 'plot curve' gives an average count rate of ~150 c/s whereas the same curve plotted with the ftool lcurve gives an average count rate of ~300 c/s. Therefore I tried using the 'xistime bstgti=yes' command to get detailed gti for burst mode data and then using xselect to extract the light curve. But xselect gives the message "Input event files have inconsistent DEADC" and then the extracted light curve has no bins. Can you please tell me the proper way to do this? My final aim is to get light curves in three different energy bands and then plot them against one another to look for spectral variations. Answer from(回答の文責)Suzaku Help DeskAnswer (答え)The problem you found is probably due to using the old processedversion. So you need to reprocess the data with "aepipeline" command with the latest CALDB files. You can simply execute it by following commands. $ cd ${PATH_TO_YOUR_ANALYSIS_DIRECTRY} $ aepipeline indir=401047010 outdir=401047010_reprocess steminputs=ae401047010 entry_stage=1 exit_stage=2 instrument=XIS bstgti=yes Please note, you have to set 'binsize=1.0' before the event extraction.
