We have to say that the procedure was very disappointing and that it was impossible to properly obtain a reduced event file/arf/rmf and to analyze the data with ftools 6.3 but also with 6.2. The ftool 6.3 version does not work with XISPI and the makepifile ae_xi0_makepi_20060522_nocti.fits. With the 6.2 version it seems to work but the xispi parameters are obviously different than those reported in the web page and, in any case, the final result was an empty event file!

Can you please inform us of the correct procedure as soon as possible, so we don't loose further proprietary time and can start to work on our Suzaku data that we hope will be very interesting? Or, if you are not the correct person to contact (in which case we apologize), can you please give us the proper contact for these issue?
