I found in the technical description that "for the observation before August 2006, we keep the absolute energy error within +/-0.2% at the iron Kalpha energy and within +/- 5 eV below 1 keV, successfully." What is the present status of the calibration of the energy scale with the newest CALDB for the observation after September 2006 (e.g. Obs ID 702042010-702042080)? Thank you.

The description of the current calibration status of the energy scale with the newest CALDB (2008-09-05) is available from

For observaitions before Febrary 2008, we keep the same level of absolute energy error as described in the technical description.
You will be able to get the latest technical description (for AO-4 proposers) within a few days from the Suzaku official web site.
